Use this Poultry Starter to give baby chicks or broiler chickens a higher protein feed ration from the first day on the farm. Feed free choice for first 3 weeks then switch to Quilted Barn Feed Co. Poultry Starter/Grower Formula to feed growing chickens or finish broiler chickens. For best results, top dress poultry grit size 1 Starter on the feed for the first 7-10 days then provide free-choice access to a separate container of size 2 (3/16th"). Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Do not feed moldy or insect infested feeds. For best storage of unused feed, keep bags in a cool and dry location.
